If you have had that moment when all things align and make sense, the DeafBlind Project provided that for us many years ago. Identifying Andrew's unique disabilities with vision and hearing loss, we started to understand how to connect, how Andrew see's or doesn't see the world, how verbal words are not the only way a person communicates, and how you can build your communication and trust through the smallest of eye movements, breath or touch. The DeafBlind Project of MN gave us the support, resources and tools that gave us hope and connections at a time we were drowning.
